Senior Spotlight: Tony Stevens
Today Triton High School honors the accomplishments of senior Anthony Stevens. Tony is the son of Matt and Shannon Stevens of Bourbon. This fall Tony plans to attend Ivy Tech and pursue an Associate's Degree in Marketing. As a student-athlete, Tony wrestled his freshman and sophomore years. He was also on the cheer squad as a sophomore and senior. You may know Tony as the Triton Trojan mascot. He adorned the classic costume to fire up the crowds since his freshman year.
Q&A with Tony
Do you have any siblings? Yes, I am the youngest of Lane and Jordan.
What clubs or activities do you participate in outside of sports? I was in color guard my freshman and sophomore years. I have also been in many drama productions. Other activities include: Helping Hands, Board Game Club, Spirit Club, Art Club, and Student Council for 4 years in a row and Student Council vice president 2 years in a row
Who were your role models growing up? Who inspires you today? Jesus
What do you consider your biggest life accomplishment so far? Honestly, just making it to my senior year is my greatest achievement yet.
What impressions do you hope you've made as a scholar, athlete, and/or member of the community? I hope someone will take up the mantle of being the mascot. I paved the way for you so just have fun!
Do you have any special talents? I can do the splits.
What's something interesting that most people don't know about you? I wear an avocado shirt every Friday.
If you won an all-expenses-paid trip to anywhere in the world, where would you go? Japan, I gotta go try some of that ramen over there man.
If you had 2 hours every week to do anything you wanted, what would it be and why? Well, I would probably nap. I love sleeping.

Anything else you would like to share about yourself, your class, hopes, dreams..... ? I just hope the coronavirus scare blows over soon.
