KNOX - The 2020 Hoosier North Athletic Conference Boys Tennis Tournament started Wednesday evening at Knox. While Triton only played in three semi-final matches, the Trojan's earned berths in the #2 and #3 Singles Championship matches by forfeit. In the semi-finals for Triton, #1S John Gardner def. LaVille's Kyle Walker 6-0, 6-0; #2S Conner Large won by forfeit; #3S Cole McKinney won by forfeit; #1D Riley Linville and Chandler Westafer def. Knox's Fornielli/Manning 6-4, 6-3; and #2D Chase King and Damon Kuntz lost to Knox's Craft/Branham 6-2, 7-5. The Championship and 3rd Place matches will commence around 5:00 pm Thursday at Knox High School. Last season the Trojans tied with North Judson for the team championship and won the #2S and #1D titles. Good luck Trojans!
