WINAMAC - Triton's junior high cross country teams traveled to Winamac on Thursday to take on the Warriors and Knox Redskins. Nineteen Triton runners posted season-best times with ten of those being personal records. Eighth-grader Jaydon Heckaman came in 2nd with a time of 12:01 and seventh-grader Rilee Bemish was 7th in the girl's race with a time of 14:17. Next, the Trojans will run at Oregon-Davis with Urey MS on September 24th.
