BOURBON - The Big Blue Slam got off to a hot start Monday evening in their home opener with John Glenn but couldn't hold on down the stretch and ultimately fell to the Falcons in five sets 23-25, 21-25, 25-22, 25-19, 15-12. The Trojans were led by Abbey Viers' 15 kills, Molly McFarland's 10 digs, Addyson Viers' 5 blocks, Madeline Doll's 4 aces, and Emma Hepler's 42 assists. John Glenn starts the season 1-0 while Triton falls to 0-1 before hosting Mishawaka on Wednesday. Triton's JV Defeated Glenn in straight sets 25-13, 25-15. Once again, no fans will be allowed at Wednesday's matches but they can be watched live on tritontrojans.org starting at 5:30.
