KNOX - The Big Blue Slam traveled to Knox on Tuesday night to open the Hoosier North Athletic Conference season. The Lady Trojans took the first set 25-21 but the Redskins answered right back taking set two 25-22. Ultimately, the Lady Trojans took control in the third set and didn't look back winning those 25-21 and 25-11. The stat columns were filled by Abbey Viers' 11 kills and 4 blocks. Addyson Viers had 10 kills and 4 blocks. Lexia Hostrawser made 8 kills and 5 aces. Emma Hepler chipped in 35 assists and 16 digs. Molly McFarland led the team with 29 digs. Knox moves to 1-7 while Triton improves to 5-1. The Big Blue Slam will go for 6 wins in a row on Senior Night in the Trench this Thursday. Triton's JV defeated Knox in three 18-25, 25-23, 15-10. With the win, Triton JV moves to 6-3 on the season.
