The Triton Varsity Volleyball team fought hard at the Triton Varsity Volleyball Invitational on Saturday (9/14/24), advancing through pool play undefeated. Triton swept Knox (25-20, 25-10) and earned hard-fought wins over Bremen (25-20, 21-25, 15-11) and Whitko (25-19, 23-25, 15-11) to the top of the Blue Pool. However, they fell just short in the championship match against Culver, losing a tightly contested final 18-25, 25-19, 20-18.
Leading Triton's efforts was Mya Davis, who tallied 59 kills, while Avery Viers added 29 kills and 27 digs. Allie Westafer led the team in assists with 50, and Sierra Hawley anchored the defense with 57 digs. Despite the narrow loss in the final, Triton's performance was strong throughout the tournament, bringing their season records to 13-4.
